Uma das maneiras de transmitimir uma idéia de futuro no Inglês é com o uso do Be Going to.
Qual a diferença entre Future com Will e com Be Going to?
É simples, usa-se Be Going to para ações antecipadamente planejadas e que transmitem certeza.
Example:

Qual a diferença entre Future com Will e com Be Going to?
É simples, usa-se Be Going to para ações antecipadamente planejadas e que transmitem certeza.
Example:
- I am going to travel to Germany. (I've already bought the tikets).
- Jane is going to go out with Kevin. (She told me she has an appointment with Kevin tonight.)
Já com Will são ações que decidimos momentaneamente ou previsões que não se baseam em algo.
Example:
- (The telephone is ringing) - I will answer the phone.
- In the future there will be no illness. (It is just an opinion, It's not based on research or other information.)
Entretanto, em um contexto geral da fala pouco se distinguem.
Agora que sabemos a diferença entre as duas formas vamos para a parte estrutural.
Subject / Sujeito + to be (am, are, is) going to + main verb.
Kathy (Subject) is (to be) going to bake (main verb) cookies.
